BRC and IFS.
In 2012, after long preparations, the company has obtained the two important BRC and IFS certifications.
These two international standards were initially deemed necessary by the English large-scale retail trade and the the German and French large-scale retail trade, respectively, and were subsequently considered essential also by the Italian large-scale retail trade.
It is a series of rules and warehouse procedures, to which the company voluntarily submits and that the staff must necessarily follow in the handling of food.
These rules and procedures required by the BRC and IFS standards, concerning both the working environment and the product intended for sale, guarantee the customers about the absolute wholesomeness and integrity of what they will buy.
The verification of compliance with the Standards by the company is carried out annually by a responsible body which must carry out a series of accurate checks, such as the food traceability system adopted by the company, the sanitation plan for the workplace, the frequency and the results of the analyses carried out on the food sold, the frequency and effectiveness of the calibration and maintenance system of machineries, and the training activity of employees who are in charge of food handling.

ORGANIC PRODUCT.
Since 2017 the E. Suriani srl company, following careful checks by an accredited certification body, has obtained the Certificate of Eligibility for the sale of Organic Garlic and Shallots, thus expanding its packaging range to organic products.

GLOBAL GAP.
In 2015 the company obtained the important Global G.A.P. Certification which aims to achieve the ‘GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE’ in a single standard.
The Global G.A.P. standard serves to ensure consumers about the agricultural production methods, the minimization of chemical inputs and a responsible approach to the environment and the safety of workers engaged in their activities.
Even in the case of the Global G.A.P. certification, the verification of compliance of the certification standard takes place annually by an accredited body.
